History of The Firefly

Waymo Firefly was the first Waymo Car to be tested on public roads fully self driven, which also happened to be the world's first truly self-driving trip. It was a ride in an Austin Neighborhood without any controls or a human backup. After achieving this milestone, Waymo was able to move onto the next phase of making self driving be accessible to the public.
